The Hill Elementary School Yearbook is a great memory keeper sold at a minimal cost to students. Volunteers are needed to take and collect pictures throughout the year and compile them for printing.

SCHOLARSHIP: Kelly Winkler and Michelle Winklepleck
Each year, the Hill PTA awards two $500 scholarships to former Hill students to help them attend the college of their choice. The Scholarship committee sends a letter to the area high schools to announce the scholarship, reviews the applications and determines the scholarship recipients. The selection of the recipients is made in the spring.  Applications available in school office or visit www.educationquest.org

SCIENCE FAIR: Jodi Delozier
Volunteers organize and assist with the annual all-school science fair. Prior to the fair, volunteers will distribute information, collect sign-up sheets, and arrange for judges. Help is needed the day of the Science Fair with set-up and assisting students and judges.                Download Registration Form

REACH FUNDRAISER: Kelly Winkler and Janet O'Shea
Reading Education Awareness in the Child's Home is a fundraiser that promotes literacy at home and in the school. Volunteers are needed to help distribute prizes. Event date to be determined for Feb./March.

PHILANTHROPY: Cori Boesiger and Lara Schwartz
Throughout the year Hill PTA coordinates several philanthropic projects that serve not only our Hill community but our city, state and country as well.

GOLDEN SOWER PARTY:
The Golden Sower Party is a celebration held to recognize those students who have read all of the Golden Sower nominated books for the current year. Volunteers will work with Mrs. Pardee to plan, coordinate and supervise the event.

HILLFEST: Madea Ouellette and Amy Kobza Deutsch 
Hillfest is our school carnival. Families enjoy a BBQ and lots of fun games. Many volunteers are needed to make Hillfest a success. One and a half hour shifts are utilized so no one has to work the entire evening.

HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE:  Tracey Swan, Lana Anderson, Kelli Johnson, Jenny Peterson and Sarah Sorrell

LIBRARY: Mrs. Bradbury, Hill Media Specialist, is interested in having some volunteers to help out in the library. Assisting students with check out and putting books away are the main duties.

ROOM PARENTS: Kristine Sundquist 

MISCELLANEOUS: During the school year, opportunities to volunteer pop up at various times. If you are willing to be on a call list, please let us know.
