The PTA is asking for donations for the Candy and Pop walk during Hillfest. We are asking for candy that will not melt. ( Starburst, Licorice, etc.) We are also asking for 24 ounce bottles of pop or Gatorade instead of the 2 liter bottles that we have used in the past.
If your child is in Grades K-2 please donate Candy
If your child is in Grades 3-5 pleases donate drink.
BARNES & NOBLE BOOKFAIR -Saturday, May 9th 9a.m. to 9p.m. at the South Point Mall location. We will have special events including: Teacher storytime on the children's stage from 10am-4pm

Ruth Hill Elementary School is hosting a Retirement Reception for five teachers who will be retiring at the end of this school year. We are honoring Mrs. Gayle Alexander (Music), Mrs. Jo Ann Churley (Physical Education), Mrs. Kay Green (Computer), Mrs. Mary Sue Pardee (Media) and Mrs. Carrol Wisemiller (5th grade) on Monday, May 18th from 3:15 to 5 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at Hill Elementary. We invite any former students and their families to join us to honor and thank these wonderful teachers.
