What does pta membership mean?

Being a member of PTA, or Parent Teacher Association, is a great way to support your school! Through various events and opportunities, PTA serves the teachers & staff, provides fun & enrichment for students, and brings our families & community together. The heart of our PTA is finding ways to love on our Hill Family. You can volunteer to help in any of the PTA events and opportunities!

Where does all the money go?

In order to do all the things PTA does for our Hill Family, we have to raise funds. We purchase items for and host events for the entire Hill staff - students - families - and community. We give to teacher/staff appreciation, award scholarships, gift the school with many items of need and support, offer enrichment opportunities. PTA hosts events like Talent Show, Daddy-Daughter Dance, Mom-Son Kickball, Cookies w/ Santa & the Grinch, Carnival & Craft Fair, and so much more!! Our schools are not allowed to fund raise for themselves for all the things they need & this is where we come in - to help support Hill!! Your membership dues, the money we raise through events like the Fun Run, Pickles & Popcorn, Concession Sales, etc., all go to help our school. A portion of your membership fees supports the school, district, and state PTA levels.
